Clickqnot is a mysterious Japanese beat-maker who's lust for old school hip-hop and sampled jazz is ever-present. With his music scattered online, there are various tracks on Soundcloud as well as his 2019 album Neighbourhood on Spotify. Clickqnot has just released a fresh album for us to feast our ears on: DONT REGLET...<BeatTape>. It's a cosily chilled play, owing to its roots in the sampling of jazz grooves. The opening track 'Wash' is predominantly made from drums and keys, setting the album off to a blissfully lazy start. The bass electric piano climbs sleazily whilst the right hand smooths it over, and the snug drum groove keeps it calm and collected. Mysterious as Clickqnot is, he sure knows how to make those dreamily mellow beats sing. -Ellie Rose-Davies
